Forecasts

The key interface used when Demand Planning data is to be interfaced with the system of record

After computing the demand forecast based on the platform configuration, the impacted SKULs can be obtained through theDemand Forecast endpoint.

By default, this endpoint will assume it is being used for integration purposes which means:

• Only records not previously interfaced will be produced
• It will default to approved forecasts, based on approvals by a planner on the GAINS platform
• By default, the results will be produced as monthly intervals. This can be overridden to produce weekly intervals
• By default, the results be produced for 12 periods (12 months). This can be overridden to produce up to 24 when requesting monthly and up to 104 when requesting weekly

The result set references the item/location (SKUL) for which the forecast is being produced and then provides an object with all the forecast details.
